well, its a close loop system where the lam
a sensor continuously send data to the ECU right! SO, if its running lean, itll correct it.
But define lean. It is a specific CO2 level? no, its where spluttering and blowbacks occur. An engine CVH engines run as low as 2.5% C02 and pintos alot higher. so depending on the engine, as long as it makes the nmost power and its happy, there is no need to call it lean.
youll have to check the plugs really to see if the engine is running lean. rich is when too much cabon is evident out teh exhaust as black smoke and the plugs are very black. very clean, white plugs show its running lean.
but i cant really comment without seeing anything.
