Hill Power Induction kit

  Clio MK 4
Done some searches in here but still got few queries. Basically I'm after an induction kit. Don't want a panel filter as i want some noise. However i don't want to lose power. Not bothered bout gaining.

Does anyone know if Hillpower induction kits are any good. They dont reduce power do they? I've read on here people opt for is it CDA or BMC induction kits? How do they compare?

Also what else do i need to purchase like a samco hose?? And what's a decent cold air feed? Do these induction kits come with them.

Thanks

as for what 'extras' you need i cant say as I have never bought one. General consensus on here has always seemed to be - Maxogen is best of the best, BMC CDA or Viper a good second (though some people rate the Viper as the best)

Hillpower never seemed to get much said about it, but what I gather is that its just as good as the Viper and BMC CDA but it gives you a nice induction noise as its semi-open.

i wont lose power with the Hill power/viper/BMC CDA would I?

Do Maxogen just do panel filters and not induction kits?

Done some more seaching on the site and think i'm def not going to go for viper. Seems to be mixed views. Sounds good but can lose a bit of power.

This is what i believe i read right

Hill Power - Looks good, sounds good dont think loses power nor gain much

BMC CDA - Look good, apparently dont sound that loud and dont lose power

Santo - Sound amazing, look good and i believe dont lose power may gain slightly.

Would people tend to agree? Which brings it down to hill power and santo i think.

Maxogen one is way to expensive

I have a CDA and am very happy with the sound, engine sounds purposeful not like a 1 litre with an universal kit. Still turns heads when you boot it though :D

ITG are the Manufacturers of the Maxogen - they do Panel filters, the maxogen is a closed IK, made out of carbon fibre. That's the best to go for....

Reading your post though i get the sense that your not fitting a IK for performance reason, just noise.. is this the case?

If so just remove the Accoustic valve and the CAF to the normal air box. That'll have the same effect as a Viper but without the expense, of course you'll suffer from a bit of heat soak but if you not bothered about loosing power, that's your cheapest option.

kind of. I want a nice noise, something that looks good and doesn't lose power. I thought that maybe hill power/ CDA BMC / santo will do this. Just unsure which to go for really. I was thinking around 250 quid
