Hotmail using Outlook

Can someone help me set up my hotmail account to run with Outlook.

I have tried doing it through Tools - Email Accounts - Add new account.

But it isn't letting me, every time I set it up and try and check my email, it says that access to the account was denied, check my username and password.

Both are correct.

Is there something I need to enable on my hotmail? Or something I need to change through Outlook?

I know that you can't use Hotmail through Outlook express anymore , Microsoft stopped supporting the use of both together back around September last year . Im assuming they've done the same with Outlook too .

I think you need to set up 'hotmail plus'. It costs though but it's what i use on my iPhone and mac to sync it all up.

I just done this yesterday you need to download outlook connector

I got my regular hotmail working through my iPhone if you want the details...

I have my Hotmail and Gmal accounts working through Windows Live Mail. I think that's basically replaced outlook. I could be wrong.

Correct. You can also reinstall msn and it should give u an option to install outlook connector
