Love the shiney alloy on the engine....but how do you do it?

Loads of elbow grease im suspecting.

Lots of autosol (alluminium polish) and elbow grease... it doest take as long as you would think.Or just take the part off and get it buffed...

its a labour of love - aluminium polishes up really well with autosol.

watch out who sees you doing it - if the wife/gf/parents spot you, you will cop for all the brasses,ornaments,fire surrounds aswell - been there!

being a engineer i polished all the bits i could on my car, in the end though i got so fed up of cleaning them ive left them for over a year now, so its back to original condition.
