How could I make shims for my calipers?

  Clio RS 172
The front brake pads in the Clio are rattling around in the calipers on rough roads and making a lot of noise. There are no shims at the back of the pads. Any ideas on what I can use to make some? I'm after ringing a couple of places to see could I buy some but I had no luck.

Ive got the same problem mate, I filed my pads to much to make them fit and now they rattle over bumpy surfaces,

I didn't get much luck asking around.. Im sure they must exist though.

Theres a viewing hole in the calliper if i can remember correctly, so there must be something out there like a clip that can hold them in place ?

The easiest solution for me would be to buy new pads and file them bit at a time to make sure they're snug in the calliper but can move easily... I'll do that when these ware down.
