How Do Coil Overs Work

I have my clio lowered about 45ml and could do with it a tad lower, maybe only 5 - 10 ml, would coil overs do the trick?

Or is this not what theyre for?

Or would i be better off buying some shorter springs???

Any other suggestions?

Coilovers you could choose how high/low you want it and adjust them.

Shorter springs will be a set drop.

Coilovers will usually be able to drop a car 60mm, so they would probably work for what you want them for.

The main funcion of coilovers is to provide the ability to change the ride height and corner weights of the vehicle without taking the dampers off.

Its simply a tighter wound spring which hugs the damper closer and the springs seat is adjustable since the body of the shock is threaded you can wind the seat up and down.

Coilovers would get you teh result you want yes.

And how much would i be looking at, not that i can afford it at the moment due to the house etc but i can dream!
