how do i avoid increase petrol consumption in a 1.2 mk1 clio

i got k &N induction kit and just fitted a new sports back box on my mk1 clio 1.2 petrol. its drinking alot which i dont want it to so how can i decrease the petrol consumption?

well....how much is remap and what happens when you do remap and i dont understand what remap consists of ??

well my mot ends this aug so im going to get it serviced 2 or 3weeks before my mot expires.
