How do I clean my BMC CDA filter?

How do I clean my BMC CDA filter?
I have taken the cone out it looks clean anyway but whilst it's out I'll give it a clean.
Can I just wash it in water and blow it dry or do I have to clean it in some special liquid?

k&n filter cleaner and oil - its a cotton gauze filter inside

BMC also do their own kit. Just remove teh securing screws and the carbon tube comes away from teh vector part inside and then you simply coat with the cleaner, rinse through, dry and then oil.
