How do I fit PANEL FILTER

I love cars, but I have no problem in admitting I dont really know much about under the bonnet. (i would love to know more) Car is in for a service on monday so I guess I could just wait and let them fit it but I want to know myself how to fit my new panel filter. I sort of have an idea but some people have been on about clips but in my 182 there seems to be dodgey screws and i dont know what tool i need to use. Any help would be great. thanks

just undoo the screws, lift off the cover and chuck it in, i think mine took me about 2 mins to fit, couldnt be any easier

what sort of tool is it for the bolts

from memory its a torx bolt, so you need a torx bit

wow just wow. im being serious here dude but from you having to ask that question id leave it for some 1 else to do. the equivelant question in everyday life would be how do i wipe my own arse. lol seriously get a mate to do it and just watch.

we all start somewhere. get a torx bit and you can't go wrong. the bolts won't come all the way out, they will stay in the plastic lid, but plenty loose enough to pull the lid off

i know we do but if ya gonna be touching cars ya got to be abit mechanical or hes gonna cause problems. make sure its sealed properly after and the plastic hose with the jubilee clip on is pushed fully on. the air box will be bolted down but i just take the top bit off.

mate, weve all got to start somewhere and changing the panel filter seems like an easy job, i just wanted some reassurance on it. please dont comment on my posts if you aint going to say something worth while.

ignore the above stupid comment, cliosport is here to help. "Getting a mate to do it.." you wont learn anything, have a crack...if you break something at least you know for next time.
