How do i get a video to work on an ipod ?

im new to all this ipod stuff so i havent got a clue

how do i get a video onto the ipod and working ?

like an mpg or an avi ?

is it even possible

i tried to convert something which was 20minutes long but i think it would have took me about 3 hours for it to convert which is useless, surely that cant be the only way

Hey! if tried many diffrent ways of doing this bt no results! there are plenty of sofwear options to put dvds onto ipod but i think apple have this one sorted!!!

found something called videora who do a movie to ipod converter

good bit of software is YouTube Grabber to download music vids etc, then use a converter such as xilisoft video converter to make it an ipod mpeg4 file. open the folder and itunes and drag from folder to your ipod movies folder.
