How do i get caliper paint off?

  Valver
Just got some calipers but the last muppet has painted them gold (well half of them and very badly) At the mo they are covered in paint stripped and have beeb for bout 5-6 hrs and the paint is showing no sign of coming off :(

Sanding is gonna take ages any other suggestions?

nitromors, slap it on thick, leave for an hour or two and then jet wash
Thats exactly what I've used, the green bottle 1. Its been on for 6 hours now, I tried scrapping the paint but didn't do fck all! Don't have a jet washer :(

I'll leave it for 24hrs and see after that?

Btw would paint stripper damage the rubber? Made sure I didn't get any on but jw!

I think the person before put the whole tin on there :( its really thick and shabby as anything!

Tried this before I thought nitromors would work to hardly took of even. Tried an air drill with a wire end on it never done anything onlything that worked was sandblasting.
My advice would be to paint the other half gold.

Thing is if I paint over it will look even worse cause the last person did such a shabby job!! Its lumpy and all over the place!!

Is there any strong acid I can use to strip the paint?
