How do i know if my dvd rw is dual layer?

Got one in my laptop, need to know before tonight because i plan on burning a certain dual layer dvd :evil:

If you use dvdxcopy it will burn a dual layer disc onto a single layer.

Erm, dont think i can cheat with this particular dvd... the source device may not read it properly...

If DL stands for dual layer then yes i believe so.

If the drive is two years old or less it's dual layer.

It will burn +R dual layer media but not -R
