how do i lock my car?

172 cup, key fob has fucked up again, there is no key hole on the drivers door to operate the locks, so how do i lock it up for the night?

am i missing something obvious?

In that case, it's not your key fob that's knackered, it's your central locking.

get in the passenger seat with the drivers door and boot shut.

Push the locking button on the dash to lock them.

Get out the car and lock the passenger door with the key/lock.

I'm not sure if this sets the alarm though so bear that in mind.

They do have some funny electronic 'characteristics' though TBF. Like the strange Playstation cheat needed to switch the headlights from manual to auto.

sorted! had to shut all doors, press button on dash, then get out of the passenger side and lock that door, thanks for the help guys had completly forgotton about that button on the dash, would have sussed it out had i remembered, wasn't as obvious as some of you thought eh!

Pretty sure when they stopped putting them on the drivers side it was to cut costs. As they use to be on both sides.

I might be wrong here and thinking of a different car but can't you just open the drivers door, press the dash button get out and shut the door and it's locked?

Pretty sure that doesn't work. You have to get out the passenger side and use the key.
