How do I port forword VNC

I have done it before. but cant remember how, this is how I have setup my router thus far.

My mate tries to connect but it dosnt, any ideas?

The default Port for VNC should be 5900 (if i remember rightly)

Unless you've changed the defaults.

use ultra vnc nice and easy to install !!!!!

Its VNC Enterprize edition...Its set to use those ports, I just cant see why it wont work.

You need to forward TCP 5900, and yes get Ultra VNC Bear in mind Windows Firewall will block VNC by default.

Ideally you want to pipe your vnc connection through an ssh tunnel to avoid security issues. But if its just your home desktop I doubt your too worried about that.

Make sure your ports on your router are open 5900, make sure your windows firewall will let through port 5900.

That should be all you need to do.
