How do I remove the silver clock surround? + handbrake button

  BG Clio 182
Colour coding my car (slowly).

How the hell, and please be very detailed, do I remove the silver bit behind the plastic screen that encases your speedo and tach? Want to put a carbon one in rather than silver.

I've had a search and checked the guides but can't find much. Is it a hard job?

And how do I remove the handbrake button to change that too? I know people will say pry it off but how there is nowhere to pry it?

To change the speedo surround I'm sure you'll need to take the dash top off.

As for the button, small screw driver down the side and just jam it in far enough and pry it out.

After you take the dash top off and remove the speedo, i think its:
remove the screws from the back and the small plastic cover should come off
Turn it over so the dials are facing you and remove the clips that hold the plastic screen, thier pretty obvious
then there are 3 black plastic tabs to remove the silver surround and it should pop off

The button, as above i jammed a small screwdriver on the bottom of the button and popped it off, then when you put it back on, any scratches made are hidden underneath
