how do i remove my glove box from my 172.....i have just bought the car and it has an internet unit fitted to the glove box but its fixed in from the inside so i need to take the glove box out to remove it ....any help much appreciated

the car has the internet in it but i wont use it so im taking it out ....

the whole lower dash needs to come out i believe

The glove box itself doesnt come out, its part of the lower dash, the glove box lid comes off by drilling out the rivets at the bottom of the hinge.

to be honest i dont know much about it...there is a unit in the glove box to put disc's in with usb ports and wireless keyboard....i wont use it so i am gonna take it out but who ever fitted it done a good job as it seems to be fixed from the inside so looks like a right pain in the arse
