HOW DO I RESET MY ECU?

Just wondering how to reset my ecu as my car is idling funny and if i press my throttle form cold start it starts reving up and down. when warm its not as bad and also its quite hesitant when accelerating. thanks

Sounds like the issue is not the ECU to me, but just unplugging the battery for 20min should do it iirc.
