HOw do I restore my Iphone to a previous backup WITHOUT updating to 3.1?

Download the 3.0 ipsw file, and hit shift, then restore. Search for the 3.0 you just downloaded (Put it on your desktop)

Done

Send me you email, and ill email you the file if you want.

Nope, that wont work.

3GS's ring home to mummy and ask if they can be downgraded.

If you want to downgrade you needed to get your ECID on file at Cydia and use the server hack.

lol... i did the old downloading ISPW thingy and it said it wouldnt allow me to restore... So just did 3.1 in the end... GHEY... have to wait a while for Jailbreak I guess.
