How do i set up Yahoo in Outlook

I have just found out i can set up Microsoft Office 2007 Outlook to work with my Yahoo.co.uk email account.

The next question is does anyone know how to do it ?

I am running Windows Vista Premium and a few guys on this rig i'm have said i need POP inbox and outbox settings to set it up.

But where do i get them and how do i get into the settings to do it on Outlook ?

Cheers

I think it's tools/accounts or something like that. It's pretty straight forward.

Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com

Yeah. The POP3 settings will be the same for whichever Outlook you're using I expect. In fact thinking about it I don't think you even need those with 2007. I think it does it for you.

Just go Tools/Accounts then click 'new' and follow the instructions.

just tried the above and went through it and typed in what it asked me to do and it failed to connect to server :(

Did it give a reason?

Try manually entering the server settings. You'll need to know what type of Yahoo account you have, as the settings differ by looks of it.

The Yahoo website will have all the info you need.

tried manually as well :(

Ah well i may have to try it when i get back to the uk, it looks like this rig has blocked the connection to the server :(

if its a yahoo account it will be an HTTP server wont it? also, i think you need a mail plus (or something like that) account to use Outlook.

Ah right ok.
What a joke needing to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus (that costs money) to use Yahoo on outlook 2007 ? :(
