how do/should i clean my Green panel filt

as above. had it on for about a year now. any ideas exactely. i didnt get any cleanin solution with it like on me old piperx.

Soapy water mate.

^^^ Yup... Then Rub a bit of oil into it...Small amount of light oil, Hinge oil or shotgun oil either or.

Or just a Green cleaning kit which is about a tenner I think. Same stuff as K&N sell , just green instead of red fluid. You get the cleaning stuff and the re-oiling stuff.

yup, you can get them from halfords anyway i think.

instructions for cleaning should be on it but go along the lines of:

- apply cleaning soltion, rub gently with soft brush, leave to work.
- rinse with water, not high pressure water or itll ruin the cotton.
- apply filtering oil as per instructions.
