How do you measure: (Fred)

  Clio 197

The amount youre car is lowered by?

Is it top of arch, to centre of wheel?

Is anyone out there willing to measure a Std Cupped 182, to compare to mine (sprung on eibachs)?

Love Oms.

You can measure it from the roof to the floor if you really want to! It doesnt matter as long as you go from the same point each time. I found the most convenient way of doing it was from the bottom of the front bumper to the ground.

^^^

I was tempted to do that, but splitter/non splitter and road camber may skew it slightly...

Anyways... Im off to measure mine (err, the car that is).

Ill just do top of arch to centre of wheel.

Arch to the center of the wheel is a common one.

Renault measure from the ground to the front jacking point then from the grout to the center of the wheela nd take one from the other.

At the back they measure from the ground to the center of the trailing arm and take away the center of the tyre height.

heh, will be interesting to compare it to my Mk1 172 on eibach pros.

i think ill go measure mine too :D

Its official:

The trophy not only looks higher.... it is higher!

And

Eibach sportlines DO lower a cupped 182, by at least 20mm!

And

Fubars got get another 4x4 :p
