How do you remove car tyres

It is possible to remove car tyres your self at home.

Ive got some at home i want rid of. They are worn so could just be cut off.

Any tools that u cud recommend i.e. crowbar, long screwdriver etc.

if it can be done?

cheers

crowbar would do it but youll need something to hold the rim tightly with.

Over than that burn the feckers off! which is highly illegal!

hehe. whats one of them

Already taken out a section with a jigsaw (being careful of the alloys), but no luck with the bit in the grove in the tightest place.

Not without knackering the tyre and/or wheel...

you need a tyre machine otherwise you could damage the wheel.a tyre company wont charge you very much to remove 4 tyres.

If you jsut wanna rip them off, a angle grinder does it fine, then cut the beads with a stanley knife.

Or you could use a wood spoon, batter them till bruised and tender so it falls off.

yea, dont care about the tyres, close to getting one off. think ill just take the other 3 to a tyre place.

cheers for all oyur help.
