How does my insurance renewal sound?

After Tesco taking the liberty of re-insuring my car without giving me prior notice, I went on a mission for a new insurer yesterday.

My car is a 51 plate 172 with Trophy spoiler, splitter, Cup Turinis, lowered on Apex -40's, Strut brace, Custom stainless with Janspeed sports cat and remap with the car running approx 185bhp.

My original policy last year was about £1250 with Tesco but I transferred from my old car in September so just kept the policy running to sustain my NCB. This years renewal was £848 without mods.

After a call to Adrian Flux I had it covered for £697 with all mods declared.

I only wish Greenlight opened after 12 on a Saturday.

How does that sound bearing in mind I have 4 years NCB, no points and I am 23.

The only downside I can see to the policy is that I am not covered on other vehicles until I am 25 and the excess is £500.

It's covered through Flux now.

I tried Elephant last month and they were about £1050 without mods and wouldn't quote online with.
Greenlight quoted £748 I think online but I didn't get chance over the phone.

£697 is cheaper than I anticipated.
