just found this, and as ive never heard of one before, was wondering if you could tell me what it does, as the discription is pretty vague. Also, whether it is a load of rubbish or not?

Even if they don't improve performance, I wonder if they're any more reliable that Renault's part.

This is the sort of thing people doing new ECU maps do. Advance the ignition a bit further than the manufacturer was willing to do for fear that you'd put some crappy petrol in and destroy your engine. As long as you always run good premium high-octane fuel its free horsepower.

hmmm.. was wondering why they arnt a popular mod. so is one of these safe to run? and will it actually give you any gains?
