how does your 172 idle?

As im new to the 172 world just wondering what everyones 172 idles at and how it idles etc

alright mate dont idle too bad sometimes revs stay high for a few secs then settles

Like a bag of crap!!, but my 2 mates are just the same, really lumpy etc!

lumpy idle now and again. as long as it's not reving up and down like a yo-yo then it's fine.

yup i would describe it as lumpy mate,but coming from a re mapped golf vr6 that would hum all day at 600 rpm im prob no help lol

mines lumpy too, esp when cold but thats expected. i think its just a normal '172' thing.

They never idele perfectly when cold particulaly due to the mapping

Even when warm, mine still has a bit of an uneven idle. I actually quite like it. Sounds sporty.
