how easy to service 172 yourself ?

I have just brought a clio 172 mk2 02 reg and would like toknow how easy it will be to service yourself as to get the sparkplugs out i have been informed the top inlet etc has to cme off is this true ?

They also don't need changing until 72k (apparently).

Personally, I wouldn't touch mine! But I never was great at that kind of thing. I'm sure it can't be that difficult really to do simple stuff like oil changes.

Spark plus are changed at 72k as they are good quality plugs. However some people have chnaged them earier and it made running and MPG a bit better but on the whole they should be fine. To do the plugs the intake manfold has to come off not difficult realy just need to get a new gasget to seal it up.
