How frequently should racing brake fluid be changed?

I've got some Motul RBF600 I'm going to change to before Oulton.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use it in my Cup?

I know it's hydroscopic (sp?)...how long will it last before it needs a change?

Its DOT 4 by the look of it so pretty much standard fluid so no reason why not. When its in the brake system it shouldnt take on a huge amount of moisture you just have to make sure it's kept in a sealed container before use. DOT 5 silicone fluid is the stuff some people arent so keen on.

Bump...

Anyone know how long in normal daily use + 1 trackday per month racing brake fluid can be expected to last before needing a change?

Am I looking at just a few weeks to be on the safe side...or is it good for longer?

if you are using the car daily and tracking the car then I'd recommend bleeding/changing fluid every 18 months. once you've got the knack, it's a simple job. Reason - because brake fade kills!
