How hot do brake lines get?

As in standard 182 brake lines.. Being used on track how hot will they get?

I assume they get quite hot seing tho they expand?

Warm at best I would imagine. It's the stuff in the piston/s that will get serial hot.

And I assume it's the cable which goes straight to the caliper. The one with the spring around it. I assume the spring is the stop the line from expanding too much?

Think the spring is to stop the rubber hose from rubbing on the strut and wearing a hole in its self!
