How important are torque settings when changing mounts.

Hi guys,

Just wondered how important the torque settings are when changing engine mounts?! Just found my torque wrench and It's knackered and I'm planning on changing upper engine, upper gearbox, and dogbone tomorrow.

Any advice ta!!

All I can say is that I have never used a torque wrench changing mounts and never had any issues!

Just do them up to FT (f**king tight)

I never worry too much on stuff like that, I've always done them up as tight as I can and all has been fine.

As said, just tighten them up. Obviously not to the point where you crack out the 3 foot breaker bar though.
