I know there is the dephaser pulley, but is there an electronic valve that opens an oil channel etc to make the timing change on demand (eg engine speed/load)
Simple trigger it to advance/r****d X degrees, or is it PWM controlled to try and trim the timing? (Is there feedback as to how far the depahser has moved?)
I love the concept of megasquirt, but I loathe its current implementation.... lost of non automotive grade parts, lots of un-necessarily out of date components and protocols etc.
My plan is to start small and redesign it to include ETB control and a few other bits and pieces that would make life easier when calibrating and see where the land lies.
