There is no way to erase anything just by disconecting the battery. So don't worry mate

you have to get the code for radio though, if its standard one

oh cool ,just didn't wanna do wot i gotta do, have a crash and die cuz the airbag programmes had been wiped by dicsonnectiong the battery!!! Radio is an aftermarket one and the code is on the inside page of ur service anyway!! cheers

ye all it does is reset your clock, all your personal settings on your radio, the trip milage and the cars milage

Probably someone who took his battery off for a day or so put it back on, connected the terminals the wrong way. "ahh man its not working the ECU must have lost its settings!"
