How long can you last?

The last time I drove my Clio was Friday night :(

I'm now "stuck" in the arse end of Cornwall on holiday with only our Focus at my disposal. Good though the Focus is, the B3072 is crying out for a Cup attack.

I actually dreamt about my Cup last night, I'm really properly missing it, the sound, the smell, the feel of it. I've already told my wife she's unpacking when we get back on Saturday as I'll be off out for a thrash as soon as possible.

Do you ever "miss" your car?

Should I get a life ? LOL

PMSL. I wondered what the subject matter of the thread was gonna be! I think you have answered your own question Mark.;) Saying that though, I did miss my 182 when I was in Italy last August with only my dads Zafira at my disposal!!

  Saab 93 Aero Wagon
I went for 3 days last week without a dose of Cup as i had to take my step bro's Mk 4 Golf GTi (yawn) into work to get it back into working order as its been on our driveway for 4 months whilst he's been out in Afghanistan, so i used it as my runabout.

Gettin back into the Cup late Thursday evening was like having a pint after a hard day.....just what the doctor ordered!

So yes, in answer to your question, i DO miss my car!

You are not stuck in the arse end of Cornwall by a long way! Do you mean the A3072?

I have been for well over a week without even using it. I am not that attached to it but do love getting back in it after a while and going for a blast.

Been a couple of days without driving while I've been home. But a lot of times I drive it sensibly, so I may as well not be driving it altogether as I'm not getting the most out of it.

But when I do drive it properly its so much fun.

i cant go a day without driving mine.

That's what I'm like, why I'm finding it so hard.

Every single day I go to work earlier than I have to and come home later too just so the roads are quiter and I can have a nice progressive drive.

On days when I have no need to drive it anywhere, I just go out for an hour for the pure hell of it.

It's like a drug. Maybe I need conselling? LOL

  182 Cup Inferno
i couldnt drive mine for a week, and i was ill over that week. I think part of my illness was because i missed it so much (other part because i work too much and was tired!), and it was at my dads for a week in the next village so i couldnt see it!

I love driving it every day. I find any excuse to use my car, like posting letters and getting lunch! lol

i had a thoroughly enjoyable thrash around cornwall and dorset for 5 days last week. oh, you have missed out :approve:

  BMW E46 330i Touring
It's my missus' daily drive to work so I don't often drive it in the week - but I do miss her. It makes the weekends more enjoyable.

I think I'm actually addicted to driving mine. I'm proper skint so should'nt really be burning petrol for no reason, but I've been out for a blat just for the hell of it twice this weekend! Just can't resist :race:

Know exactly where your coming from Mark.

Except the dreaming about the smell bit :S (you need help)

I drive mine all the time, hence why the mileage is so fecking high lol.

That said I'd rather it be that why than some 13k pristine minter thats never seen the redline!

Oh and the smell thing, I used to love it when I hadnt been in my old GT Turbo for ages and then you get in and its just smelled of GT Turbo. Every meet I went into its the same smell in all GT Turbos lol.

I can live without driving it as long as I know if needs be its there to be abused. Im off on holiday fairly soon for two weeks so It will be interesting to see how I fair then.

Perhaps a couple times a year im off around the country in a van and i dont so much miss the Clio when away, just REALLY appreciate it when i get back.

Most of the time im travelling the country in the Clio and then i miss the bike, like crazy if its sunny.
