How long does it take to fit...??

  clio 182 trophy
Got my MOT tomorrow and need two front springs fitted and a rear ABS sensor fitted.
Roughly how long would these take to fit as trying to work out how long my mechanic is likely to have my car for?
Also need to start learning how to do stuff like this myself, as well as learning how to do general service/maintenance on my cars. Can anyone recommend how I would come about learning?
Many thanks

springs 1 hour tops for both. Make sure they're the right springs. If not a specialist he's likely to order the wrong springs for the front unless using genuine parts.

Rear abs sensor could take 10 minutes if the original comes out easily. Could be much longer if retaining screw is bust.

If you have a decent impact wrench springs are easy. Top mount nuts can be an absolute sod. Snapped off Allen keys are a sod to remove.

Thanks very much lads!
I made sure i got the correct springs and sensor before i took it in, so no problem with parts.

You have to remove the stub axle for the rear sensors. As the backing to the beam extends over the level of the sensor. (Or grind a little bit off the axle)
And that can be a bloody horrible job! I'd say 2 all in then
