Had mine five years two months. Its cost me plenty, and will continue to do so (no doubts there). Do love the look of it though.

  Polo GTi

6 months Ive had mine, only reason I know is Tax is running out.

Not had any problems I can remeber in the 6 months, well not serious ones, pads and sh*t.

got mine last November and had no problems then it started costing £££... :(. also looking into the prices of parts and labour I could have bought an M3 and paid less in all, worth while experience, but not been able to enjoy her properly for the past 3 months due to random and numerous niggly faults followed by major ball ache

Ive had mine nearly 11 months. Bought on Oct 13th (my Bday) last year.

Had to replace steering column & brake hoses, but no major problems yet,

Still look forward to the drive home.

  Williams 3

Had mine 3mths and love her 2 bits! Shes still got the "Neeeeew Caar?" factor - quick peep at the flared front end and im smilin! Shes had the gearbox, clutch and steering col done in the time Ive had her but shes worth it 4 the drive!

You getting rid then Jesus?
have thought about it a couple of times, as I can get BMW parts/servicing and labour real cheap at a specialist in Manchester. I want to get the Williams sorted first though so I can enjoy what I have been missing since I had it, see how it goes from there. it should be fine, but if anything else major goes after that Ill have to have a serious think, cos these things can be a money pit.

best thing about the car though is that when it works its great to just go for a drive in it, makes me wanna drive it for no real reason, not had that with my other cars. plus the looks you get are good too, certainly turns heads.

"cos these things can be a money pit"

Tell me about it. I got over 8k of receipts for mine, and thats not including the 11k I paid for the car in 1999.

ARGH! if the bills start getting silly its going, but touch wood this should be the last of the major problems as the car is in good condition apart from the gearbox... 8k in 5 years is absolutely horrendous though for running costs... id have got rid by now if that was the case! lol
