How Low can i go (part 2)

I have a 2001 1.2 16v dynamique
I ask 3 questions

1.what is the cheapest way to lower my car?
2. I want to put 17s on it.. how low can i go?
3. Do you reckon white alloys would look the biz on my green clio????

Cheapest way (BTW im a student!!) is springs (£90ish) and a bit of DIY

Lowest you can go with no probs on 17s is 60mm (tried and tested by me and a few other people)

Its a personnal choice on the wheels

I have seen 90mm (chopped springs) with 17s and the guy said the car is ok, aslong as the road is as smooth as a babys arse and u dont have to turn very often!
Would say 60mm is enough on 17s
