How low?

  Inferno 182
Whats the lowest my clio mk2 will be able to go without being stupidly impractical? Not going for handling performance as its a 1.6 and im never going to take it round a track, just want looks but want to actually be able to drive it!

40mm is about right, Any more and you catch on speedbumps etc, I was over 100mm at one point, Caught on normal road with no bumps :L

Ahh right was thinking 60mm but would that be a bit too much then? Because ive seen some on here with 45mm and theres not much difference imo :/. Haha yeah ive been in cars over 100mm and i wouldn't be able to live with it :L

Buy some coilovers and then you can adjust them to whatever height you want and there a much better ride quality than apex 60 springs or similar and really not that much more in price!

Not really bothered about the ride comfort as its going to get hard with harder springs anyway so i'm prepared for that, just dont want to get stuck anywhere or ruin the underside of my car lol.

Not really got the money for coilovers :/ as i want to get new wheels to go with the new ride hight. I'll have a look on ebay for coilovers, just dont really want to spend over 100, but for coilovers i'm probably prepared to pay 150 if there are any used but in good condition.

mines lowered 60mm on 17s haven't had any problems with speed bumps or multistorey ramps ect

Am lowering my mk3 tce by 45mm not to much as don't want it to low and hopefully improve handling slightly :)
