how many mile syou done on coilovers?

my mates vr6 eats coilovers and he hardly does any miles

he says coilovers arent really meant for daily drivers.
hes had avo, supersprint and now FK's

anyone had probs with coilovers on clios?

in particularly the LEDA's - allthough i know these are new product so prob not many miles been run on them.

I did 10k or so on coilovers without any trouble.
There no probelmw ith coilover lore cleaning and proper rubber covers will help preserve them but there just like any damper.

i've got my scoob on ledas, done about 10,000 miles on them, and every day through the grime and crud of my horrible back roads.....zero issues.

And i seriously abuse my car, they've even survived a crash which bent a wheel and a cast iron hub!

Fred's done about 60K miles on his (and we know how low his car is!)

his are 100% fine

Had my FK's on a good 5000 miles and had no problems. It's as low as I can get it without further work too.

i've done about 15k on my FK's and not had a problem with the coilovers

my other mates 306 hes doen loads of miles on his FK's, think he had a prob the other month though.

Had FK's on for nearly 3 years so over 30k and fine. They have liftetine warranty anyway.

my fks have been on for about 10,000 miles and altho its not particually low they have been great with all out pot holed roads

I fitted mine myself with advice from Fred + Loony. Back is all the way down, and front as far as it will go before it starts making strange noises. Never had a problem yet even with 3 people in the car.

Obviously it's not as low as other people who use custom rear springs and grinders though!
