How many miles once in the red

Ok so heres the lowdown......im in cornwall and the nearest shell is about 20miles away, do you reakon ill make it or shall i stick a bit of normal stuff in lol. cheers

depends on driving style, i ranged from anything between 7 and 40 miles in the 1.2 but i do like to push cars

you may make it, but youd have to drive like miss daisy or carry a petrol can with you just in case

Lightt on means about 45 miles. So if you take it easy youll make it no problems

Blink, is that figure for the 2.0ltr yeah? Mines been tweaked a little but i dont think it uses much more fuel....miss daisy it is then

Ive done 35 miles after the red light came on. I was desperate, and ive not got the guts to try any further.

My digital readout says 34miles once light comes on and when the digital display dissapears its about 30 miles.

Thats in our 182 anyway

in a 1.2 it is 45 miles when the light comes on, belive me i have tried! thought i would find out just incase the same situation popped up in the future. Had a spare can with me though.

drove for about 45 minutes on the red once. It can be done!

in the fabia i usually have about 60 miles when light comes on then another 50 ish when it says 0 miles left

The red indicates you have about a gallon left so you should go however many miles you do to the gallon - ie drive slowly and youll make it to the Shell
