How many Mk1 172’s

Bit of a stupid question but it has been buggin me for a while now.

The Mk1 172 wasnt in production for very long, so how many mk1 172s were sold in the UK?

About 100,000 in silver, 172 in green and about 10 in other colours.

Thats the way it seems to me anyway!
