how much camber?

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
hiya guys what the max recommended camber you guys would think is suitable to everyday driving??will adjusting the camber setting eat through the tyres?

my cars a ph1 172 lowered on coilovers and 17's if that makes any difference?

well if you wanna save ure tyres, you have to wonder why u got coilovers. Coilovers would suggest you want good handling, and therefor like a bit of speed im guessing. the degree of camber gives you better cornering, but ure tyres are gonna wear quicker.

If you wanna save the tyres then you wanna reduce the camber so you have more rubber on the road to start with.

I think thats right.

yeah thats correct.. u wanna be setting it at about -1 degree for fast road.. thats what edde told me when i set mine up first time round.. i've experimented with more and less but i think this is the best.

thanks for the inputs guys i dont mind the tyres wearing a bit as long as the handling is spot on for fast road use.

so between -1 to -1.5 is the amount of camber to go for?

I found the steering less adjustable during cornering when my suspension was 'lowered' through being knackered, plus it wrecked my tyres lol
