how much extra... (bodyshop quote)

i got a quote yday for sideskirts fitted and painted and rear bumper resprayed, £230. thing is iv now got valver front wings (which need to be prepd and sprayed) and hopefully a spoiler off prima (which just needs to be sprayed) and it all fitted.

seein as the bodyshop is closed all weekend i was wonderin if anyone could give me a rough estimate on how much the extra bits would cost(spolier & wings fitted), as this would help me sort my money out this weekend!

Ok....

ive got a nasty scratch that goes across two doors (dont ask ) metcallic paint.

both doors need rubbing down, bit of filler sanding etc. then respraying both whole doors. i got quoted....... £140-£160

but my dad used to be in mechanic and knows some1 who will do it for £70.

sooooo answer! get more quotes! £230 seems a bit steep to me and i think going on that charge u will be looking....

Vavle front wings : atleast £80 each + £30 for fitting

Spolier : £60 + £30 fitting

You really do get screwed over on fitting, u should do it yourself.

ive heard some ppl get charge £170 to have a lip spoiler sprayed and fitted!

230quid doesnt sound too bad, bodyshops charge a lot for sideskirts cos most can be a pain in the arse to fit.....

Anyway, considering youll only be paying extra labour (as the materials used paint etc will be included in the original estimate) Id say 350-400 for the whole job.

Different bodyshops obviously charge different amounts for different things. The amount of work Ive just had done on my valver only cost 400 notes!

if the valver wings fit like standard jus get em sprayed an fit em yaself cause they dont take 15mins each!i had for my mk1 clio 2 new wings, got em sprayed for £80 and fitted em meself!didnt really ask around though cause these are the first things i have ever had sprayed!
