how much in mm should i lower?

i have asked before (so sorry inadvance) i need a step by step guide on how to go about lowering them

will get it done at a garage as i am no mechanic lol!

i need (if poss) a price of everything i need..where to get them and if it causes any problems?

40 just isnt enough im afraid, your really need 60mm+ lower, baisically how low can you stand living with every day, the lower the better but if your constantly catching on kerbs and speed bumps your tooo low :D

well...yeah. i know you want to do it cheap...but i wouldnt buy those. i go down to halfords or somwhere...k-tec and buy some decent ones...they'l cost you about £120

your going to need spring clamps, and all the tools to do it aswel though!

I lowered mine 35mm all round and i think it looks dead on height wise but its on 17". See if you can get a pair of 2nd hand springs of here. I got mine of a local site for £20 and fitted by mechanic for £40, car lowered £60 total. Saved me £100 which i put towards a new set of wheels.

I've too many ramps where i live and near work. Would like to stick a set of 60mm on to make it look the bizz
