  RB 182 FF
Seriously considering selling my RB 182 FF when I get back to the UK in November, but only if it's worth me selling... Only reason is I've owned it 5 years and fancy a change!

It's an 04 plate 182, 98k miles.
Full service history by independant garages and specialists.
New Renault exchange gearbox and clutch fitted about 6 months ago by Dan at SJM, done about 3k miles since.
Belts, dephaser, waterpump and aux belt done by Dan also about 2 years ago.
Cup shocks replaced all round with cooksport springs.
Custom Prospeed exhaust, fatty induction setup.
Black standard cup wheels, black and rb bullets and engine cover, 5k Morimoto XB35 xenon bulbs and Philips led sidelights, silvervision indicator bulbs.
Snappy retrimmed wheel and carbon inserts.

Pretty sorted car all round, it will have new brembo HC discs and OE rears fitted before possible sale as I already have them waiting.

What's it worth guys? Cheers, Gaz.

These rb's seem to be popping up quite a bit recently.

I know it will be a great car for someone so would agree with the above

  RB 182 FF
I might get some hate but I really just want to scratch the itch for an EP3 Type r..... Ive wanted one for a while now and the almost 5 years with the RB has been fantastic, but its probably the right time to change... I know the 182 is a better all round daily but the EP3 has a better driving position, and better engine and gearbox in my opinion.....:grimacing: :dizzy:

I had a facelift 54 Milano for six months. Good cars but you will miss the Clio. Unless.... The ep3 was modded etc. As standard they are quite boring. Reliable but a tad dull.

  RB 182 FF
Hopefully will have a budget for a nice Facelift model, and really fancy ITB's or some kind of tuning... Im not too familiar with the K20 engine so would look into it all obviously... I'm hoping my brother wants the RB off me so I won't miss it too much and we can swap if we wanted....

Hi all, hope you can help with providing a valuation on my Trophy

A bit of background

42k miles, 7k done in the last 12 months.
Over £3k spent in the last year including
1x major service Oct 15
1x service July 16
Belts Oct 15
New Miltek exhaust and Prima Racing mounts
BG Motorsport Sachs refurb March 16 (+Cup dampers as spares, only 3k old)
Lots lots more including all receipts and FSH - simply no expense spared during my ownership
2 previous owners (1 was there garage that sold it to my friend with no miles on the clock so it's really only had 1 previous owner)
Only ever run on Shell V-Power and oil
Fantastic interior
ALL work above undertaken by the best in the business, Mick at Diamond Motors

The wheels need touching up and a splitter needs fitting but apart from that it's immaculate, especially mechanically due to heavy investment as you can see. A dream to drive. Kept in underground car park out of the elements.

Interested in your thoughts.

Hey all,

I am just putting feelers out there as there might be a potential to upgrade in the near future. What do you think its worth?

My 2004 (54) Clio 182 FF in Titanium Silver has covered 91K, Part Service History last done in March by me (proof of parts receipts), MOT till March. Had cambelt, waterpump (the lot) done in April 2016. Miltek Catback exhaust. Just fitted ds2500 pads and Brembo HC disks on the front. Bought from KTech. Done less than 500 Miles.
Wheels all need refurbing. A few scratches and dents. Rust on the bonnet next to both lights (v common im told). Generally v good condition inside.

Anyone any ideas?

Looking to buy an R26.
Therefore, interested to know what my Arctic 182 FF is worth. 74,000 Miles. In the Last 3000 Miles (5 Months) I have had Cambelt, Dephaser, Water Pump, Aux etc (receipt for just over 1k) New Wheels all round, new front discs and pads, wheel refurb all round, new dampers, new itg fiter, new grill, new spray shack bullets much much more. Upgrades - ktec silenced exhaust, eibach springs, front and rear strut brace. Due a service and mot next month which I will of course do then looking to put up for sale. I have owned for 6 years when mileage was 10k. Only one previous owner. Car is a minter! Thanks.

I could be interested in this. Let me know what sort of price you're after. Prices at the moment are all over the place.

Seen some up at £3500 but seem to be up for sale a fair while / not even sell.

Then seen others that are priced a little low at around £1700 that sell pretty damn fast. (withinn a day).

All depends on your circumstance but I'd say if all as good as what you say around £2500 for a sale in my opinion.

Cheers for your response. Will let you know price when I officially put it up for sale, which will most likely be at the end of the month.

Surely a mint low mileage FF with appropriate mods in any colour is worth a minimum of 3k upwards...?! I put 2 fingers up to these valuation guides garbage.... Its about time real world prices for well looked after cars were recognised...

Well considering I'm looking daily at prices with large fluctuation I'm only stating what I see.

Decent condition around £2-£2500 are selling, ones priced at £3-£3500 seem to be up for a good while if at all sell.

Always two perspectives when selling and that's from the buyer and seller.

Most will always feel there item is worth more than others.

Buyers believe it's not worth as much as seller believes.

Again, as stated depends on sellers circumstances and condition of car...

I wasn't having a dig I was just stating these valuation guide jobbies are garbage. A good example is my 182, I've had a Renault replacement gearbox and new clutch and a few other bits and bobs which cost just shy of 2k, but my car will be valued around 2k-2.5k... and it's an RB FF, which holds no leverage in price guides....

In my opinion a spot on 182 FF which has been lovingly cared for and no expense spared is worth 3.5k upwards all day long, that's not a biased view due to owning one either, if I was looking to buy and found a mint one I'd happily part with 3.5k upwards for the right car.... I mean come on, a bloody mountain bike can cost double that in today's crazy world....

I tend to agree.

When you compare to an EP3 with similar mileage they'll be up at £4-5000 when the 172/182 struggle to get over £3000.

Obviously there is the exception with some conditions and rarity but I've seen a fair amount of 182's that look nice start off at £3500 and 2 months later be around £2700.

Like I said sellers will also value items higher than they are worth to buyers especially if spent a bit of money on them. It's that a Clio or 911.

Will Allways be a wide variety of prices, probably with good reason too.

Was only at Carl's place the other day as he was checking the car over and he said you would struggle hard to find one as good for the money I'd consider selling mine at.

For a mint car at top dollar you're never going to get it's full value selling outside of a specialist community like this. You need a buyer who appreciates the work that has gone into keeping the car in that condition. For this particular one £3k sounds like rock bottom value to me.
