Looking to sell my 2003 53 Flame Red Clio 172. Has 56k miles, no tax and no MOT.
Has a crack in the windscreen, which is the only obvious MOT failure I can see.
What might it be worth in it's current state?
What might it be worth with 12 months mot and tax?
What might it be worth in total if I broke for parts?

here is a 172 clio in silver. its a 01/11/01 model. 90k miles.
i brought it with a knackered engine, have rebuilt it with a 182 bottom end and ported top end and its now up for sale, i don't need 3 clio's!
the engine isn't the original, its a 40k miles 182 bottom end with a ported and polished head. fully rebuilt with OEM kit. This was done due to original engine goin pop after the cam belt let go.
new oils through out.
the gearbox and diff have been out, checked over and are fine.
its got a race CAT. matched inlets, large bore exhaust. brembo H/C discs, race pads. SPAX suspension. BK alloys.
its got good service history.
i'll get it fully valet'd and also take it to my mates DYNO to get a power run and full tune up so its running sweet as a nut.
someone must have a rough idea of what its worth?

Ok, my old 182 is going to be up for sale shortly (now owned by my Dad) and just trying to guage a rough estimate on it.
It's an 05 plate in black, had just myself and my Dad as owners from new. 40k miles and 30k of those were done in the first 18 months of ownership as I was commuting round the M25 in it. Completely standard apart from having both cup packs and Recaro's spec'd from new Cambelt service done in the last 6 months.
Now for the slightly less good bits... wheels are in need of a refurb and a few marks on the drivers door where my Dad has been incapable of not touching the side of the garage with the door when getting out. Nothing too bad though! Worth getting these sorted or selling as it is?

I would personally buy 2 phase 2 seats & put them in the car & sell it for the same amount- 5300/5200 ish & pocket the money on the recaros-

Anyone offer a bit of guidance as to how much they reckon my phase 1 is worth in it's current sorry state....
2001 X plate, platinum silver, 117k plenty of stamps and quite a bit of history.
Suspected cambelt damage, so non-runner at present.
F1's with very recent Toyo t1r's, Momo wheel and Milltek cat-back.
Sorned at present, no MOT and cracked screen.
Bodywork and interior in good condition considering milage....

It will always be worth more in parts sadly. Secondhand engine £250, fitting £200, Servicing new engine £anything!, new screen £150... You can buy a tidy ph1 for £1-1.2k nowadays.

Not a million miles away from what I thought Daniel tbh. If can get a little bit more, I'll sell as is, if not, I'll break to make £800 ish, then scrap rest. Not happy, but no choice unfortunately

Hey Everybody,
Looking for some help with my Clio 182. I have had it up for sale for 3/4 months now with no interest at all and dont know what I am doing wrong! Its Clio 182 with cup pack, 49000 on the clock, 8 months MOT, taxed until October 10, paintwork is immaculate and so is the inside, I have full renault service history and it is very well looked after. I have put it up for £5000ono - is this too expensive? I also stay in Stranraer in Scotland which may put people off but I have been willing to travel. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

It's a 2004 (53), silver, full fat 172, 42,000miles with FSH (no evidence of a belt change in the FSH though, was told it had been done when I bought it, but after looking there was no evidence of it)
the car is standard with new tyres and brakes.
