How much is my MK2 Silver 172 worth

Just enquiring how much i could get for my MK2 Silver 172, two years warranty remaining, 12k on the clock on a 53 plate Reg in 2003. Had a Supagaurd done on it covered for 3 years, Well looked after.

Just enquiring as we are looking at getting a MK1 V6 Clio.

If its a Renault Dealer bought car then around £8500 to £9000. An import and you can take about a £1000 off that. Thats part exchange at a dealer by the way and based on my experience with Renault and my mk2 172.

list on mine with 38k on is about 9.6 but cant even sell at 7999 let alone that !!!!

I got £8,600 trade in against a new 182. That was an 03 Import Monaco Blue 172 with 22500 on the clock.

I have always found that to be the case with most cars anyway, Renault offered us £3k for a 106 independance that was 14 months old, we sold it for just over £4k on private.

I will have to see what i can get offered priavte first or even do a part-ex with a garage that has the Clio im after.

no we are saying it the other way you get more part ex than from a private sale

Soon ill be in the market for a 172 and for buyers were all having field days.

To me @ the momment a 172 offers real good value for money, considering 52/03s are going for just 9k or even less.. theres so many to choose from.

The intro of the 182 has really hit the 172 hard. although the cups holding up abit.

Plus i would probably get a load of 17-18 year olds phoning up for a test drive to see how fast it goes, too many of them in the area.

Matt just say no insurance no test drive and that you want to see documents, no way will they be able to drive it.
