how much to lower?

  a low one
how much could i lower my 1.4 ph1 clio on standard shocks with just the lowering springs without causing ridiculous amounts of damage to the shocks? coilovers are out of the question atm! cheers :)

  Fiesta ST2
think you can lower 60 but lots of folk recommend new shocks if you go 60 due to the constant compression they have 30 is recommended with standard shocks

  alien green rs133
i ran my 1.2 for 40k lowered 60mm and shocks came off were fine.

'uprated' to coilovers and fecked rear coilover shockers in 6k...

well its re-assuring to hear that you all think 60mm would be fine! heard mixed comments about 60 with people saying after only a few hundred miles the shocks were trashed etc! ill get saving for the springs then

60mm will be fine. I ran my old 1.2 with 40s for a few months then 60s for another 6months on standard shocks and they were still fine when I sold the car.
