Just take the splitter off, it wont make that much difference to someone buying it i sure. If tnhey do ask, say your knock £50 or something off, still saves you the initial £150 to buy a new one.

try phoning reanult about getting hold of a cable.

Id guess at £80-100 to swap the cat as a garage would have to put it up on the ramps, change gaskets etc

Yeah and i dont surpose the cable will cost much, bet its just a few quid. Renault probs charge you an hours labour which was £75 an hour last time i checked at renault in croydon.

would like to sell the car on the cheap with these things still to do, but i doubt anyone would buy it

how much do you think i could get for a 172 cup 44k miles

neading new splitter
cat swap or not depending on the buyer
front seat fix

am out of the country for a few more weeks and would like to have it sold when i get back,

think these things will put a few buyers off?

has had the big cambelt / timing belt service but is due the next service although has only done about 9k miles since the last one...

cant you fix the little things yourself, Im sure they would not exaclty be hard to do? Even replacing the cat isnt hard at all, saves you a few quid lol.

if its going to be more than 72 quid to get the seat fixed you better off buying a second hand seat

cup seat are cheap

Renault serviced my car and the drivers seat wouldn't go forward for rear passangers. They wanted £100 to fix, I asked them to supply the cable (£15) and I fixed it myself.

thing is im out of the country and would really like to get the car sold before i get back - so i can just start looking for a car straight away...

im s**t at fixing stuff myself so would still have to pay to get someone to do it for me when i get back..
