When i was gonna get the 182 serviced and belts changed, i got a quote from renault. £300 for a full service, and £800 to get the cambelt and Aux belt changed. What a con.

May be worth giving Mackie Motors in Brechin a call as the changed my cambelt and aux belt for 500 odd all in as Evans Halshaw were wanting 600-700 quid

And many independant garages weren't keen on doing it as they never had cam locking tools or hadn't done one before (so i walked away) and others weren't interested with the f**king about and time to do it due to little space to work in they said

Car Clinic said they'd do it, but i was just as cheap to go to Mackie Motors

And i beleive the cups are slightly cheaper to do as well

And a full service will probably be around 150-200 quid mark i'd say

Mackie Motors get a decent enough right up on here, as do Falkland Performance in Glenrothes.

I'd go to brechin...suppose to be good service and the price isn't too bad. Wonder if they'd know anything more than the insurance off for not taking the courtesy car?
