how often do you clean your leather?

just wondering how often people with 172/182's etc clean or use leather products on their seats?
also is it a good idea to do so?

Strangely enough I have just ordered some leather treatment over Ebay. I originally heard about it in The Times car supplement - they said it was used by Maranello, Aston etc. etc. and actually makes the leather smell 'leathery' again! Haven't tried it yet, but it smells the part. It's called Glipton 'Liquid Leather', incidentally, and mine was bought from user: performancemotorcare.com who were spot in with delivery and have 100% feedback. Will let you know how I get on with the stuff on Sunday!

once in 3 months so far. got some Megs cleaner/Cond stuff made a nice difference.

Just use some soapy water, then when its dry i spray some leather protector/finish on it

just been using water on mine when I clean the inside of the car. Gets finger marks easy where people pull the passenger seat forward to get in the back. Looking at getting some proper cleaner soon to bring back the freshness.

i use auto glym leather cleaner then auto glym leather care cream once every six months,i dont think it does it any good to constantly clean it according to autoglym

autoglym leather cream twice a year. avoid people in the back if i can help it.

Use the leather cleaner once every six months, condition every 2/3.

1Z leather care to clean, Zaino z10 to condition. Both leave a totally naturual non greasy look/feel and smell. Apperance looks brand new just like the day I collected the car.

Weekly maintence is a wipe down with a damp MF cloth or Meguairs Intreior Quick detailer.

I've just bought Glipton leather cleaner and conditioner, works a treat and is recommended by a few of the top manufacturers.
