how often ?

basically i was wanting to know how often you would do the following ...

clay your car ?
polish ?
wax ?
use a sealant ?

im just starting out at using the " proper kit " when cleaning my car and i was wondering like do you polish it everytime you clean the car etc thanks for anyhelp :approve:

Nah mate, i just need to trade the missus in, shes getting older now, hasnt been serviced in ages, things are always going wrong and i have my eyes on a nice newer and younger model

clay your car ? -Before polishing

polish ? - I Hand polish 4times/year. machine polish (if you have one) should be done 1-2 times IF needed.

wax ? Weekly

use a sealant ? -after ploshing

Wash, i do mine every week. Using a non caustic tfr, snow foam and the 2bm.

Clay is every 6 months or so.

polish, well i always top up afta the weekly wash!

Seal, i dont that often. Only if i go all out! I use pb polish with sealent.

wax, again i try to do it weekly.

But i am totally obsessed!

Polish every week ? WTF ?

Clay once a year if needed (check for contamination first), machine polish once a year.

Mild polish/Paint cleaner before reapplying a sealant (so see below)

Sealant once every three months to six months depending on how durable the sealant is.

Wax once every one to two months or so or before a show.

dont polish weekly, you will take off layers of protection. Just top up with wax or get a spray sealant.

I would probably look into a true abrasive free paint cleaner rather than polish with SRP every week if it floated my boat though!

Wash, QD and maybe a coat of wax if I really feel energetic for me. Not polished mine since last April !

yeah BUT touching paintwork with a microfibre and rubbing it is prob causing more swirls!! lol
